WHAT WE DO
Mbuyu Capital BV helps investors, development finance institutions and family offices develop strategies to create impact and find a sustainable route to investment in Africa. We map markets, sectors, participants and economics to develop strategies leading to equity, debt or hybrid investment.
We are operators with many years' experience, primarily in East and Southern Africa in the agribusiness and financial services sectors. We provide governance through board memberships and also work with companies to provide interim hands-on management services. This can be in general management or for specific projects.
We also help investors diligence and value companies in Africa. Our Akili database is probably Africa’s leading fund and deal database available outside the large development finance institutions with information on over 80 funds and 800 investments.
